From the first days of the Russo-Ukrainian war, the Ucluster team has been supplying First Aid goods to Ukrainian cities of Kyiv and Odesa.

We raise money for first aid supplies:
- blood stopping tourniquets
- israeli bandages
- trauma scissors
etc.
Before this war, we had no idea what a “Israeli bandage” was, or how a trauma scissor was different from a regular one. But once again, just as in 2014, the Ukrainians self-organized and built a logistics chain to supply the goods that the mainline logistics operation operated by the Ukrainian government was just too slow to organize.
Even now, with 30-40% of the logistics infrastructure destroyed by Russian cruise missiles, our supply runs deliver First Aid to frontline and near-frontline cities like Odesa, Mykolaiv, and the Ukrainian South.
We usually get requests for specific items from folks in Ukraine whom we know well. We then buy the goods in Germany, and bring them over to logistics hubs on the Polish border. From there, the supplies get delivered where there is the largest need.
